Throughout March, Fearless Women joined the global celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD), and CEO Glenda Stevens was honored to speak about our work at several IWD events.
Fearless Women is creating a safe and inclusive community where girls and young women can find their voices, speak freely without fear of judgment, and learn from one another and inspiring role models. We focus on fostering self-empowerment and helping girls and young women discover their strengths. Through mentoring, counselling and education, participants learn to understand and manage stress, body image concerns, the pressures of social media, and navigating toxic relationships and the importance of good mental health and wellbeing.
The United Nation’s 2025 theme ‘For all Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.’ calls for action to unlock opportunities for all, aiming for a feminist future where no one is left behind. It calls for increased momentum, for us to March Forward and accelerate action to urgently address the systemic barriers and biases that girls, young women and women face.
Achieving gender equality requires understanding what truly makes a difference – and then doing more of it. That’s why Fearless Women is committed to reaching the 300 girls currently on our waitlist, and we need your support to do so.
One powerful way to accelerate change is by supporting the organisations and individuals who are making a difference, like Fearless Women. Thank you for standing with us as we empower girls and young women to:
Together, we can help girls thrive
