Become a Mentor

Donate your wisdom, experience, and learnings

Here's what being a mentor means

Giving up just a few hours of your time each month, over two years, to become a volunteer mentor within the Fearless Women sisterhood is a great way to give back and provide support, guidance, and friendship for a girl or young woman facing the same challenges and issues you did at her age.

We don’t expect you to have all the answers; you’re there to listen without judgement, be a friend, and share your own lived experiences of similar situations. As a positive role model in a young woman’s life, we ask that you lead by example and be genuine, responsible, and willing to share your time.

And don’t worry, you’re not alone; we’ll provide you with the guidance, support, and tools you need to help you on your mentoring journey, and we’ll be with you every step of the way.

Why become a mentor?

Imagine if you’d had a mentor when you were a young woman and facing life’s challenges; someone who’d listen to your issues without judgement. Someone who’d experienced the same challenges you were going through, who’d come out the other side and could offer their wisdom, experience, and learnings.

Getting involved in the Fearless Women sisterhood by becoming a mentor is a great way to give back and provide support, guidance, and friendship for a girl or young woman in the Canberra region facing the same challenges and issues you did at her age.
