Meet Gai Brodtmann

Gai Brodtmann is a former Member for Canberra, shadow frontbencher on cyber security and defence, joint parliamentary committee deputy chair, diplomat, small business owner and public servant. She is currently a non-executive director on a range of boards, a presenter and panellist at national security institutions and an advocate and mentor for women. The product of a working class matriarchy and three generations of single mothers, Gai is living proof of the transformative powers of education and empowerment. She wants every girl and young woman to have the choice, confidence and opportunity to realise their potential – to contribute to their community through a big, bold and proud life.
