Meet Delfina Shakespear

Delfina Shakespear has over 10 years of experience in the Commonwealth Public Service, with expertise in Strategic Policy, Governance and Program Management. Away from her Public Service career, Delfina is also a national level Football (Soccer) Match Official, refereeing at an ACT National Premier League level in the winter months, before stepping onto the field at on a national stage while officiating in the Liberty A-League Competition in the summer. Not only does Delfina excel with her performances on the field, off the field she is a strong advocate for women and girls in a wider sporting context – volunteering her time to offer mentoring, strategic and governance advice for these women, and striving for equal opportunity in sport regardless of their role. Delfina is passionate about ensuring any of her endeavours are left in a better place than where she found them, while ensuring the next generation of women are ready to take on whatever the world throws at them.
